BECAUSE YOUR TIME IS VALUED
I want you to have the best possible appointment. Sessions always start and end on time provided you arrive 5 minutes early. My goal is to have you on the table by your appointment start time so you always get the most of your time. This means your 60-minute session is actually 60 minutes, not 50. I also include time after your session to get dressed and check out so you are never rushed out the door.

Taking care of yourself is important to both of us, so if you have a fever or are feeling a cold coming on, notify me right away and I will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later day. The 24 hour cancellation policy may apply.
WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?
First sessions can be nerve racking if you have never had a professional massage or hypnosis session before. It all starts with your intake form that is emailed out to you. This lets me know your health history, what medications you may be taking, past and present injuries and what your reason and goal is for the session. Once you arrive for your inital visit + consultation appointment we will discuss your session in detail and put a treatment plan together.
Depending on the type of service you schedule you will either remain fully clothed (hypnosis and some styles of massage) or be asked to disrobe completely for your massage once I have left the room. However, Your comfort is my utmost priority. I will work with you to accommodate any needs you may have regarding draping and body positioning to ensure you always feel safe and secure.
In a massage session I always knock before re-entering the treatment room. You will be draped with sheets and a blanket the entire session. Only the areas we are working are uncovered at any time and at no time is private areas exposed or worked on.
In a hypnosis session you are always in control and aware of what is going on. After we discuss your wants and expectations you may relax on the table and your session can begin.
No matter what type of session you come in for your session is all about you and communication is key! At any time you are encouraged to speak up if the room is too cold/hot, if you prefer a different type of music, if the pressure or technique I am applying needs to be adjusted or for any reason you want to end the session just let me know. This ensures you get the best session possible and I promise my feelings will not be hurt.
DO YOU OFFER PREGNANCY MASSAGE OR WORK ON CHILDREN?
Although it is not my specialty I have worked on expectant mamas and children ages 5 - 17. Parents/guardians can accompany their child in the treatment room. If you would like a referral to a therapist who does specialize with these populations click here.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
I accept Cash, all major Debit/Credit Cards including HSA/FLEX. Personal Checks are not accepted.
I am an Out of Network (OON) provider on all medical insurance at this time. If you wish to use your OON benefit you will need to pay direct and submit billing for reimbursement. I do not guarantee if your insurance will reimburse you or not.
Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC):
If you have been involved in an MVC I may be able to work with you and your insurance company to ensure your sessions are covered at little to no cost to you. Sessions are billed as Medical Massage. You must have a claim opened with YOUR auto insurance in order for me to bill direct. If PIP is no longer available or it is a 3rd party case you must pay us direct at time of service and you may submit for reimbursement from the insurance company or include it in your settlement. If you are working with a lawyer to ensure you are being treated and compensated fairly we are happy to work with your lawyer on a lien agreement.
If you want to bill Medical insurance, L&I or 3rd party you will pay at time of service, I will email service receipts along with necessary documents within 48 hours after your treatment so you can submit for reimbursement. Please note you are responsible for obtaining the details of your insurance plan and I do NOT guarantee your insurance will pay.
You must check with your provider directly to ensure you will be able to use it for massage and I recommend getting a Letter of Medical Necessity to keep on file. Otherwise if your card does not process you must be prepared to pay with another form of payment or if you are audited your benefits provider could require you to pay back in full.
GRATUITIES ARE NOT NECESSARY
I view my specialized work as healthcare so the price you see is the price you pay! The best way to show your appreciation is to leave a review and recommend me to your friends, family and your healthcare providers.
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. To be effective and fair to all, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. My time is just as valuable as yours, so as a courtesy I send out a reminder email and text well in advance. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice contact me as soon as possible. You may be charged the full amount of your appointment or loss of program session, certificates or vouchers. This includes insurance clients; You are financially responsible for this not your insurance. Loss of any gift certificate or voucher may be implemented at the company's discretion.
No-shows - Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show” and may be charged in full for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrival Policy - We do not double book our sessions. The time you schedule is set aside specifically for you. Therefore you must inform me immediately that you are running behind. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible to pay for the full session that was scheduled.
Packages & Programs - All packages are good for up to 1 year depending on the package. Programs are valid for the length of the program only. Packages & Programs can not be combined with any other offer or discount. Cancellation policy applies and you may lose scheduled session if you no show or cancel less than 24 hour notice.
Refunds - There are no refunds on packages, programs or services rendered. Retail items must be unopened, unused and in original packaging.
Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
All intake forms, medical notes, authorization forms and conversations with Boise Therapeutics and it's therapists are held in strict confidentiality within the guidelines of HIPAA Regulations and only provided with client's written consent.
SEXUAL MISCONDUCT POLICY
Boise Therapeutics is a professional place of business. Any sexual remarks, derogatory terms, advances, inappropriate jokes, innuendos, illicit conduct and gestures will result in immediate termination of the session, client will be held liable for cost of session and charges will be filed with the local police.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Boise Advanced Therapeutics and it's therapists have the right to refuse services at any time.

This includes all forms of scheduling available such as phone, in person and online. If this is your first appointment with me you must schedule online. I do not schedule first appointments by text.
